PC-behuizing Silverstone FARA B1 PRO tower zwart

The Silverstone FARA B1 PRO Tower Black is a mid-tower PC case engineered for effective airflow and straightforward system builds. Constructed from steel with a tempered glass side panel, this black tower supports Mini-ITX, Micro ATX and ATX motherboards and accepts both PS2 and ATX power supplies. Designed dimensions (207 mm W x 401 mm D x 446 mm H) make it suitable for desktop or small workstation setups while providing space for multiple storage drives and cooling fans.

Advantages

The case includes three 120 mm front intake fans and one 120 mm rear exhaust fan to promote balanced ventilation and lower component temperatures. Its tempered glass side window allows visual access to internal components without compromising structural rigidity. Compact footprint and support for multiple 2.5" and 3.5" drives enable flexible storage configurations. Front-panel connectivity with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one USB 2.0 port offers convenient access for peripherals and external storage.

Suitable for

• Building a quiet home or office desktop PC with efficient airflow
• Entry-level to mid-range gaming systems using ATX or Micro ATX motherboards
• Compact workstations where limited desk space requires a smaller tower
• Systems requiring multiple SSDs and at least one HDD for mixed storage

How to use

Install the chosen motherboard aligned to the standoff pattern for Mini-ITX, Micro ATX or ATX, then mount the power supply in the designated bay following the case orientation. Secure drives in the provided 2.5" or 3.5" mounting locations and connect SATA power and data cables. Use the front-panel headers to attach USB ports and front audio to the motherboard. Arrange cables to maximize airflow, keeping them clear of fan intakes and the GPU area. Verify fan direction and connect the three front fans and rear exhaust fan to the motherboard fan headers or a fan controller for optimal speed control.

Recommendations

For best thermal performance, maintain unobstructed front intake airflow and periodically clean dust filters. When installing high-performance GPUs, check clearance limits and ensure adequate case ventilation. Use SSDs in the 2.5" bays for faster boot and application load times and reserve the 3.5" bay for bulk storage if required.
