Quantum LTO-8 HH - tapestation - LTO Ultrium (12 TB / 30 TB) - Ultrium 8 - SAS-2 - rack - inbouwbaar - 1U - encryptie

The Quantum TC-L83CN-AR is an LTO-8 tape drive designed for high-capacity, energy-efficient data backup and long-term storage. It supports LTO-8 and LTO-7 media with a compressed capacity up to 30,000 GB and provides hardware AES 256-bit encryption, one-generation backward read/write compatibility to LTO-7, and a Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 6 Gb/s interface for straightforward integration into data center environments.

Advantages

This tape drive delivers large capacity and sustained performance while consuming less power than earlier generations. It offers fast transfer rates and a high backup throughput, robust hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption and WORM capability for regulatory compliance, and one-generation backward compatibility to LTO-7 to protect existing media investments. The SAS 6 Gb/s interface enables easy installation and integration with servers and storage infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Enterprise backup and archiving
• Data centers requiring energy-efficient storage
• Regulated industries (healthcare, finance) needing WORM and encryption
• Environments using LTO-7 media alongside LTO-8
