Rack-stekkerdoos Bachmann BAN0103375 19 inch ALU 1U VM

Bachmann BAN0103375 19" ALU 1U VM is a rack-mount power strip designed for integration into 19-inch equipment racks and cabinets. Housed in an aluminium enclosure and occupying a single rack unit (1U) of height, this power strip delivers additional AC outlets and helps manage power distribution and cabling in server rooms, AV installations and technical enclosures. The compact form factor supports professional installations where a durable, space-saving power distribution solution is required.

Advantages

The aluminium housing provides structural rigidity while keeping weight low and aiding heat dissipation. The 1U form factor enables efficient use of rack space and straightforward mounting in standard 19" racks. Built for professional environments, the unit simplifies equipment connection and cable routing, reducing clutter and improving accessibility to power outlets. Materials and construction are selected for long service life in technical installations.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and network cabinets
• Audio-visual (AV) racks and broadcast installations
• Technical enclosures in control rooms and industrial applications
• Data closets and small-scale IT deployments

Key specifications

• Form factor: 19-inch, 1U height rack-mount unit
• Housing material: aluminium
• Function: AC power distribution for rack equipment
• Intended environment: professional racks, AV cabinets, technical enclosures
• Mounting: front-mountable in standard 19" rack rails

How to use

Mount the power strip in a standard 19" rack at the desired 1U position using appropriate rack screws or mounting brackets. Connect the unit's incoming AC supply to a compatible mains source following local electrical codes and safety practices. Plug equipment power cords into the strip's outlets and route cables to maintain clear airflow and access. Ensure that the total load connected to the strip does not exceed the capacity of the upstream circuit and that power connections are secured before switching power on.

Recommendations

Install the unit in a dry, ventilated rack location away from direct heat sources. Verify mains voltage compatibility and circuit capacity prior to connection. For critical systems, consider using this power strip in combination with upstream surge protection or uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices to enhance equipment protection and uptime.
