Refractor-telescoop Bresser Optics CLASSIC 60/900 AZ

The BRESSER Classic 60/900 AZ refractor telescope provides a traditional, lens-based viewing experience with a 60 mm objective and 900 mm focal length. Designed as a lightweight and portable instrument, it comes with an aluminium tripod, an alt-azimuth mount and a smartphone camera holder to help capture observation images. The set is intended for introductory astronomical and terrestrial observation, delivering clear views of the Moon, planets and other bright solar-system objects.

Advantages

Sharp, classical achromatic optics with a 60 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length produce defined images for lunar and planetary observation. The alt-azimuth mount with vertical adjustment and a sturdy aluminium tripod make setup straightforward and stable. The telescope is lightweight (about 2.35 kg) and made from durable metal components, making it portable and suitable for beginners. Included accessories — smartphone adapter and astronomy software with a star map — help record and locate objects during observation.

Suitable for

• Beginner astronomers and hobbyists
• Observing the Moon and planets (e.g., Jupiter, Saturn)
• Terrestrial viewing and landscape observation
• Casual astrophotography using a smartphone

How to use

Assemble the aluminium tripod on a level surface and attach the alt-azimuth mount according to the included instructions. Secure the telescope tube to the mount, insert the chosen eyepiece and perform coarse focusing using the focuser knob. Use the vertical and horizontal controls of the alt-azimuth mount to point the telescope at the desired object. Start with low magnification eyepieces to locate targets, then switch to higher magnification for detailed views. Attach the smartphone adapter to the eyepiece to align your phone camera and make images or short videos of the observed objects.

Recommendations

For best results observe from a dark location with minimal light pollution and allow the telescope to reach ambient temperature before detailed observation. Begin with the Moon and bright planets, use low-power eyepieces to find targets, and steadily increase magnification as seeing conditions allow. Secure the tripod and avoid touching the telescope during high-magnification viewing to reduce vibrations.
