Draadloos access point Ruijie Networks RG-RAP6262(G) 2,4 GHz 5 GHz

The Ruijie Networks RG-RAP6262(G) is a dual-band wireless access point supporting 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with a combined maximum data rate of 1775 Mbit/s. Designed for outdoor and harsh environments, the unit features a fully sealed housing that is waterproof, dustproof, moisture-proof and flame-retardant, with wind erosion protection, wide operating temperature range and 4 kV surge protection. The device includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) support and two Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports for flexible installation and reliable wired connectivity.

Advantages

The RG-RAP6262(G) provides omni-directional coverage using four built-in high-gain antennas, enabling extended wireless range up to approximately 100 meters on 2.4 GHz and 300 meters on 5 GHz. Its rugged sealed enclosure and surge protection enhance durability in challenging outdoor conditions. PoE capability and a rack-separated mounting design simplify installation at height and reduce cabling complexity.

Suitable for

• Outdoor wireless coverage for campuses, parks and industrial sites
• High-density public areas requiring stable Wi‑Fi access
• Environments with exposure to dust, moisture or strong winds

How to use

Mount the RG-RAP6262(G) using the rack-separated mounting design and secure cabling with the provided metal hoop or appropriate fasteners for outdoor installations. Connect a PoE-capable switch or injector to one of the RJ-45 ports to power the unit and connect it to the network. Configure SSIDs, security (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK) and radio settings through the Ruijie management interface according to site coverage and capacity requirements. Verify antenna orientation and perform a site survey to confirm coverage.

Recommendations

For best results, install the access point at elevated, unobstructed locations and use PoE equipment rated to IEEE 802.3at. Regularly inspect seals and cable entries after severe weather and plan placement to avoid heavy electromagnetic interference sources.
