Schroef Cimco 190026 — 25 mm verzinkt metaal, Ø 4 mm schroefdraad, voor vezelplaten, 1 stk.

Single cimco 190026 screw made of galvanized metal, 25 mm long with a 4 mm thread diameter. This compact screw is designed specifically for use in fibreboard and similar engineered wood materials. The galvanized finish reduces the risk of corrosion, making the fastener suitable for indoor applications where moisture exposure may occasionally occur. Supplied as a single piece, it is intended for repair, assembly or small DIY jobs requiring a reliable short screw for light-to-medium joining tasks.

Advantages

The screw’s galvanized metal construction provides enhanced corrosion resistance compared with untreated steel, extending service life in typical indoor environments. Its 25 mm length and Ø 4 mm thread diameter deliver secure engagement in fibreboard without excessive protrusion, reducing the risk of splitting or material damage. The compact format as a single-piece supply is convenient for precision repairs and targeted use where only a few fasteners are needed.

How to use

Select an appropriate pilot hole for the Ø 4 mm thread if working with brittle or thin fibreboard to reduce splitting; a pilot drill slightly smaller than the core diameter is recommended. Position the screw at the intended location and apply steady pressure while driving with a compatible screwdriver or drill drive bit. Drive until the screw head is flush with or just below the surface as required for the application, taking care not to over-torque which can damage the board.

Recommendations

For best results, pre-drill in very dense or laminated panels, and avoid use in load-bearing structural connections. Store in a dry environment to preserve the galvanized coating and select longer or larger-diameter fasteners for heavier-duty joints.
