Schroef cimco 190104, verzinkt metaal, voor vezelplaten, 50 mm lengte, 4 mm schroefdraaddiameter, 1 stuk

Cimco 190104 is a single galvanized metal screw designed specifically for fastening into fibreboard panels. With a length of 50 mm and a 4 mm thread diameter, this screw provides a secure mechanical hold in engineered wood materials while the galvanised coating improves resistance to corrosion in typical indoor environments. Supplied as one piece, it is intended for precise repairs, sample installations, or situations where a small quantity is required.

Advantages

The galvanized finish offers enhanced rust resistance compared with untreated steel, extending service life in non-exposed or lightly humid conditions. The 4 mm thread diameter and 50 mm length combine to deliver reliable pull-out strength and adequate penetration for most common fibreboard thicknesses. As a single-piece supply, it allows immediate use for testing, adjustments, or one-off fixings without excess waste.

How to use

Pre-drill a pilot hole in the fibreboard to a diameter slightly smaller than the screw's thread diameter to reduce splitting and ensure straight insertion. Insert the screw using a suitable screwdriver or a low-speed drill with a compatible bit, applying steady pressure and keeping the screw perpendicular to the surface. Drive the screw until the head is flush with or slightly below the surface, depending on the desired finish; if countersinking is required, create a shallow recess before final insertion. For repeated use in thicker panels, consider using longer screws or additional fixing points.

Recommendations

Use in interior or protected environments to maintain the integrity of the galvanised coating. Avoid prolonged exposure to outdoor weather or highly corrosive atmospheres. Match pilot hole size to substrate density and check that the screw length is appropriate for the combined thickness of materials being fastened.
