Schroef Cimco 191215 — verzinkte staalschroef voor spaanplaat, 30 mm lengte, 4 mm schroefdraaddiameter, 1 stuks

Cimco 191215 is a single galvanized steel screw designed for fastening into fibreboard. The screw has a total length of 30 mm and a thread diameter of 4 mm, and its zinc galvanization provides basic corrosion resistance suitable for indoor use and environments with moderate humidity. Supplied as one piece per pack, this screw is intended for applications where a compact, corrosion-resistant fastener for fibreboard is required.

Advantages

The galvanized steel construction offers protection against rust and extends service life compared with untreated steel fasteners. A 4 mm thread diameter provides reliable engagement in fibreboard without excessive splitting, while the 30 mm length gives sufficient holding depth for typical panel thicknesses and light fixtures. Supplied as a single unit, the screw is useful for single repairs, sample fitting, or applications where individual fasteners are needed rather than bulk packs.

How to use

Pre-drill a pilot hole in the fibreboard when required to reduce splitting and to ensure accurate alignment; choose a pilot hole diameter slightly smaller than the screw thread. Insert the screw straight into the pilot hole and drive it with a compatible screwdriver or a low-torque drill driver until the head sits flush or at the desired depth. Avoid over-tightening to prevent crushing the fibreboard or stripping the thread engagement.

Recommendations

For long-term or outdoor applications, consider fasteners with enhanced corrosion protection or stainless steel variants. When working with thin or fragile fibreboard, use appropriately sized pilot holes and moderate torque settings to maintain holding strength without damaging the panel.
