Schroefdraadnippel Metabo 628800000

The Metabo 628800000 threaded nipple is a compact connector intended for use in water pump systems and related fluid-handling assemblies. Manufactured to provide a secure, leak-resistant joint, this accessory supports stable water flow and pressure management in installations where threaded pipe connections are required. Its design focuses on durability and straightforward integration with compatible components.

Advantages

This threaded nipple offers a robust connection that reduces the risk of leaks and minimizes maintenance needs. Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, it withstands typical operational stresses found in domestic and light commercial pump systems. The component's standardized thread profile allows for straightforward installation and reliable sealing when paired with appropriate fittings and sealing materials.

Suitable for

• Connecting hoses and pipe sections in water pump installations
• Replacing worn or damaged threaded connectors in circulation systems
• Use in irrigation setups, domestic water supply and small-scale pressure systems

Key specifications

• Function: threaded connector for liquid systems
• Material characteristics: corrosion-resistant construction suitable for water
• Compatibility: designed for use with standard threaded pipe fittings in pump assemblies
• Application environment: indoor and sheltered outdoor pump installations
• Form factor: compact, straight nipple profile for inline connections

How to use

Prior to installation, inspect mating threads for damage and ensure both connection surfaces are clean and free of debris. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or sealing tape compatible with potable water systems if required by the installation. Thread the nipple into the corresponding fitting by hand to engage threads, then tighten with an appropriate tool to the manufacturer's recommended torque or until leak-tight, avoiding over-tightening. After installation, run the system and check for leaks under operating pressure, retightening marginally if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, use the threaded nipple with fittings of matching thread specification and material compatibility. Regularly inspect connections for signs of corrosion or wear, especially in environments with aggressive water chemistry. Replace the nipple if threads become damaged or sealing performance degrades.
