shiverpeaks BASIC-S netwerkkabel blauw 7,5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S networking cable is a 7.5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP) cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It comes in blue and is equipped with RJ-45 male connectors with gold plating to ensure stable connections and reduced signal loss.

Advantages

This Cat7 S/FTP cable provides improved shielding with individually screened pairs plus an overall braided shield, reducing electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold‑plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for typical desktop and small office installations while maintaining signal integrity for gigabit and higher-speed networks.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Office workstations and small server connections
• High-speed Ethernet applications (Gigabit and above)

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 m
• Standard: Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)
• Connectors: RJ-45 male – RJ-45 male
• Connector plating: Gold
• Colour: Blue
• Brand: ShiverPeaks, MPN: BS75517-B, EAN: 4017538000828

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the network ports of your devices (PC, router, switch). Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for best performance. Test the link with your network devices to confirm negotiated speeds.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and heavy compression of the cable, keep it separate from mains power lines where possible, and use it within its 7.5 m length to maintain signal quality for high-speed Ethernet.
