SHIVERPEAKS S/FTP Cat.6A PIMF halogeenvrije GHMT-gecertificeerde patchkabel, zwart, 20m (BS75726-AS)

For high-density 10 Gigabit Ethernet links where signal integrity and fire safety are non-negotiable, this SHIVERPEAKS S/FTP Cat.6A patch cable combines dual shielding with a halogen-free jacket and GHMT certification. Each of the four twisted pairs is wrapped in its own metal foil (PIMF), and an overall braid shield suppresses alien crosstalk, making the cable suitable for data centers, server rooms, and industrial environments. The LSZH jacket emits very low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire, protecting people and equipment. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure reliable contacts over thousands of mating cycles, while stranded pure copper conductors (AWG 26/7) provide the flexibility needed for tight cable management.

Highlights

• S/FTP shielding: overall braid plus foil on each pair (PIMF) for maximum noise immunity
• Cat.6A performance up to 500 MHz, supports 10GBASE-T over 20 meters
• Halogen-free LSZH jacket for low smoke and low toxicity in fire scenarios
• GHMT certified for verified transmission quality and compliance
• Gold-plated RJ45 plugs with strain relief for long-term reliability
• Stranded pure copper conductors for flexibility and easy routing
• Supports PoE, PoE+, and 4PPoE (PoE++) up to 100W

In daily use

At 20 meters, this cable bridges the gap between patch panels and equipment in racks or between workstations and wall outlets. The black LSZH jacket resists abrasion and remains flexible even in cooler environments, while the S/FTP construction keeps adjacent cables from interfering with each other—a common issue in dense bundles. The gold-plated contacts maintain low contact resistance, ensuring stable links for high-bandwidth applications like video streaming, large file transfers, and virtualization. Because the cable is halogen-free, it is also suitable for public buildings, hospitals, and other areas with strict fire safety regulations.
