Spanningstester-schroevendraaier Cimco 111320 — geïsoleerde tester, 12,5 cm, chroom/rood/transparant

The Cimco 111320 voltage tester screwdriver is a compact insulated tool with a 12.5 cm metal shaft designed for quick verification of live voltage in electrical circuits. The transparent handle with chrome and red accents houses a visible indicator that signals the presence of voltage. Intended for simple live-conductor checks, this tester combines a short shaft length with an insulated body to provide basic safety when used according to instructions.

Advantages

The tester provides rapid, one-handed detection of AC voltage on screws, terminals and exposed conductors without complex setup. Its insulated handle and shaft reduce the risk of accidental contact with live parts during standard tests. The transparent handle allows clear visibility of the built-in indicator, and the compact 12.5 cm shaft makes the tool convenient for working in confined spaces and electrical panels.

Suitable for

• Quick presence-of-voltage checks on outlets, switches and terminal blocks
• Basic troubleshooting of household and light commercial electrical circuits
• Tasks where a compact, hand-held voltage indicator is required
• DIY electrical work and routine inspections by electricians

When it may not be suitable

This screwdriver-style tester is intended for basic voltage detection and should not be used as the sole device to verify absence of voltage for safe-working procedures on high-risk installations. It is not a replacement for insulated multi-meters or voltage detectors with specific ranges, true-RMS measurement, or additional safety ratings required for professional high-voltage work.

Key specifications

• Shaft length: 12.5 cm
• Tool type: voltage tester screwdriver with integrated indicator
• Handle: transparent with chrome and red accents, insulated body
• Indication: visible built-in display/indicator for presence of voltage
• Intended measurement: presence-of-voltage detection on live conductors (AC)

How to use

Hold the insulated handle and touch the metal shaft tip to the conductor or terminal to be tested while keeping any contact with conductive parts to a minimum. Follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions: ensure you use the tester only on circuits within its intended voltage range and inspect the tool for damage before each use. Observe the built-in indicator to determine whether voltage is present. Avoid applying excessive force and do not use the tester on energized systems that exceed the tester’s designed capacity.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended use: basic presence-of-voltage checks rather than precision voltage measurement
• Safety needs: ensure an insulated tool with appropriate ratings is suitable for your application
• Shaft length and access: 12.5 cm shaft for tight spaces but limited reach for deep terminals
• Compatibility: designed for AC live conductor detection; not for specialised measurement types

Recommendations

Use this voltage tester screwdriver only as a quick indicator of live voltage and always confirm absence of voltage with a suitable certified measuring instrument before performing work on electrical systems. Regularly inspect the insulation and handle for damage, and replace the tool if any protective elements are compromised.
