Stoomstrijkijzer JATA JEPL2401

The Steam iron JATA JEPL2401 combines a high-power 3000 W heater with a ceramic soleplate to provide fast heating and smooth gliding across fabrics. Designed for 230 V AC input, this iron delivers consistent steam output and a strong steam boost to remove stubborn creases. The compact water tank and vertical-steam capability make it suitable for both flat ironing and steaming hanging garments.

Advantages

The ceramic soleplate offers even heat distribution and reduced friction for easier ironing. A 3000 W power rating reduces heat-up time and maintains stable temperature during use. The steam boost function delivers up to 220 g/min to target deep-set wrinkles, while continuous steam output smooths fabrics during normal passes. The iron includes a 0.45 L water tank that supports longer ironing sessions without frequent refills, and the vertical steam function allows convenient steaming of curtains, suits and delicate items without contact.

Suitable for

• Daily household ironing of shirts, trousers and linen
• Removing stubborn creases from heavy fabrics and cotton
• Vertical steaming of hanging garments, jackets and drapes
• Quick touch-ups before special occasions or work

Key specifications

• Power: 3000 W for rapid heating
• Voltage: 230 V AC operation
• Soleplate material: ceramic for smooth glide
• Steam boost: 220 g/min for intensive steam output
• Water tank capacity: 0.45 L for extended use
• Vertical steam: yes, for steaming garments on hangers

How to use

Fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the indicated level, plug the iron into a 230 V socket and allow it to reach operating temperature. Select the appropriate fabric setting and wait until the indicator shows the iron is ready. Use the regular steam mode for general ironing and activate the steam boost briefly for deep wrinkles. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright at a short distance from the garment and move it slowly downward to allow steam to relax fibers. After use, switch off the iron, unplug it and empty the water tank if recommended by the manufacturer for storage.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralized water if local tap water is hard to reduce mineral buildup. Test the soleplate and steam on a small, inconspicuous area for delicate fabrics. Allow the iron to cool completely before storing and follow safety instructions regarding placement on heat-resistant surfaces.
