Stoomstrijkijzer JATA PL225

The Steam iron JATA PL225 combines a stainless steel soleplate with 2400 W power to provide fast and effective wrinkle removal. Designed in purple and white and operating at 230 V, this iron delivers consistent steam output and a smooth glide across a range of fabrics. The vertical steam function enables steaming of hanging garments and curtains without contact, while the stainless steel soleplate resists scratches and allows easy movement during routine ironing tasks.

Advantages

The stainless steel soleplate ensures even heat distribution and durable resistance to wear, improving glide and reducing snagging on most textiles. With 2400 W of power the iron reaches working temperature quickly and maintains steam generation for efficient ironing. The vertical steam function adds flexibility for steaming clothes and drapery in situ. The purple and white design gives a clear and modern appearance while controls remain straightforward for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Daily ironing of shirts, trousers and casual wear
• Quick touch-ups and ironing of delicate fabrics with appropriate temperature settings
• Vertical steaming of hanging garments, suits and curtains
• Household use where a reliable, mid‑to‑high power iron is required

Key specifications

• Power: 2400 W for rapid heat-up and sustained steam output
• Voltage: 230 V suitable for standard household outlets in applicable regions
• Soleplate material: stainless steel for smooth glide and scratch resistance
• Steam: continuous steam with vertical steam function for steaming garments upright
• Colour: purple and white exterior finish

How to use

Fill the water tank according to the capacity indicated on the appliance and set the temperature dial to the appropriate fabric setting. Allow the iron to heat until the indicator shows readiness. For normal ironing lay the garment on an ironing board and use a steady motion from top to bottom, applying steam as needed. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright close to the fabric and activate the steam function while gently moving the iron to remove wrinkles without direct soleplate pressure. Always follow fabric care labels and allow the iron to cool before storing.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralized water if tap water in your area is hard to reduce limescale buildup. Clean the stainless steel soleplate only when cool and follow the manufacturer's instructions for descaling intervals to preserve steam performance and extend the appliance life.
