Recommendations

For reliable protection, connect sensitive electronics such as computers, modems and audio equipment directly to the surge-protected outlets. Periodically inspect the power strip and its cord for signs of wear, and replace the unit if it shows damage. Do not attempt internal repairs; dispose of the unit according to local electronic waste regulations when end of life is reached.
