Subwoofer Omnitronic BX-2550 15 inch passief, 600 W, 15-inch driver

The Omnitronic BX-2550 is a passive 15-inch subwoofer with 600 W RMS (1200 W peak) power handling, designed to reproduce low frequencies with deep, controlled bass for PA systems, venues and events. Its robust bass-reflex cabinet and 15" driver provide high output and reliable low-end reinforcement when used with external amplifiers and crossovers.

Advantages

The BX-2550 offers powerful, dry bass response through a voluminous, bass-reflex enclosure and ports, a switchable passive crossover for integration with full-range tops, and a high power-handling capability suitable for mobile DJs and installations. How to use

Connect the BX-2550 to a suitable external amplifier using the SPK socket, taking impedance and amplifier power ratings into account. If required, enable the switchable passive crossover to route low frequencies to the subwoofer and mid/high frequencies to the top cabinets. Position the subwoofer for optimal low-frequency coupling with the room and other speakers, and secure power and signal levels to avoid clipping or overload.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the BX-2550 with full-range tops and match amplifier power to the 600 W RMS rating. Use correct crossover settings and monitor levels to prevent distortion. The cabinet and grille provide protection for transport and live use; handle using the provided carrying handles and avoid exposing the felt covering to excessive moisture.
