The Cimco 120081 Black Red Folding Blade Knife is a compact utility knife with a folding blade mechanism and a 135 mm overall length. Designed for general cutting tasks, the tool combines a sturdy handle with a secure blade lock to support controlled cutting in workshop, construction and home environments. The black and red finish identifies the tool visually while maintaining a functional, easy-to-grip profile.

Advantages

The folding blade design reduces storage space and improves portability while the locking mechanism prevents accidental blade movement during use. A rigid handle offers stable grip and control for straight and precision cuts. The knife’s compact dimensions make it convenient to carry in a pocket or tool pouch without compromising cutting performance.

Suitable for

• Cutting cardboard, packaging and tape
• Trimming drywall, insulation and flooring materials
• Precision trimming of wallpaper and carpets
• General workshop and on-site cutting tasks

Key specifications

• Overall length: 135 mm
• Folding blade mechanism for compact storage
• Two-color handle finish: black and red
• Secure blade lock for safe operation
• Ergonomic, non-slip grip profile

How to use

Open the knife by releasing the folding mechanism and extending the blade until the lock engages. Position the blade at the required angle and apply steady, controlled pressure along the cutting line. For straight cuts use a guide or ruler and replace or retract the blade after cutting. Keep fingers clear of the cutting edge and close the knife by disengaging the lock and folding the blade into the handle when not in use.

Recommendations

Use the utility knife on appropriate materials and avoid prying or twisting motions that can damage the blade or handle. Replace the blade when it becomes dull to maintain cutting efficiency and reduce the need for excessive force. Store the knife with the blade folded and engage any safety features to prevent accidental opening during transport.
