USB-C naar DVI-adapter DeLOCK 3m 85322

The DeLOCK USB-C to DVI adapter cable allows connection of a DVI monitor to a PC or laptop equipped with a USB-C™ or Thunderbolt™ 3 port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The 3 m long cable comes in black and uses a Parade PS171 + Cypress chipset to deliver video up to 3840 x 2160 pixels (supports video modes up to 2160p).

Advantages

The adapter provides a straightforward way to output video from USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 devices to legacy DVI displays without additional drivers. A 3 metre length offers flexibility in device placement, while the integrated Parade PS171 + Cypress chipset ensures stable signal conversion and compatibility with common laptops and notebooks.

Suitable for

• Connecting a MacBook or Chromebook with USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 to a DVI monitor
• Using older DVI displays as secondary monitors for office work or presentations
• Home or small office setups where a longer cable is needed for flexible placement

How to use

Ensure the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on your PC or laptop supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Plug the USB-C end into the source device and the DVI connector into the monitor. Select the appropriate input on the monitor and configure the display settings in your operating system if necessary. No additional drivers are typically required.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C to ensure proper video output. Avoid excessive bending of the cable near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources for optimal signal quality.
