USB-kabel DeLOCK 82446 USB 2.0 10m zwart

This USB 2.0 cable by Delock extends a USB A port by 10 m and has USB A connectors on both ends. It supports USB 2.0 data transfer speeds up to 0.48 Gbit/s and features gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity. The cable is black and designed for applications that require additional reach between devices and a host.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 82446 cable provides a 10 m passive extension without requiring external power when connected to an active USB port. Gold-plated contacts improve signal contact reliability and reduce corrosion. Standard USB A connectors ensure compatibility with a wide range of USB 2.0 hosts and devices.

Suitable for

• Extending connection between a computer and USB peripherals (printer, scanner, keyboard)
• Connecting USB hubs or devices where the host port is distant
• Temporary setups in offices, workshops, or exhibition stands

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A
• Connector 2: USB A
• USB version: USB 2.0
• Cable length: 10 m
• Maximum data rate: 0.48 Gbit/s
• Product colour: Black
• Contacts: Gold-plated

How to use

Connect one USB A plug to an active USB host port and the other USB A plug to the USB device or to an additional extension cable. Ensure the connected host port can supply required power for the device; passive extensions rely on the host for power. If longer reach is needed, a second compatible 10 m extension can be connected to achieve up to 20 m total length.

Recommendations

For stable data transfer and sufficient power delivery, avoid daisy-chaining multiple passive extensions beyond the recommended length without using an active/repeater cable or powered hub. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to minimise interference.
