Veiligheidskabel EUROLITE AG-5 3×600 mm, draagvermogen tot 5 kg

EUROLITE AG-5 safety rope is a three-strand safety line composed of three 600 mm legs, designed to provide a secondary securing point for lightweight equipment. Intended for use as a suspension backup in events, stage lighting, and small rigging tasks, this safety rope supports loads up to 5 kg and helps reduce the risk of accidental drops. The product is compact and easy to integrate into existing rigging setups where an additional safety lanyard is required.

Advantages

The EUROLITE AG-5 safety rope offers a simple, low-profile solution for securing lightweight fixtures and accessories. Its three parallel strands distribute the backup load and allow for redundancy in attachment points. With standardized 600 mm leg lengths, it is suited to common hanging and suspension arrangements and can be fitted quickly without extensive modification to existing hardware. The construction is aimed at consistent performance for its rated load limit, providing a practical safety measure in temporary and permanent installations.

How to use

Attach the main load to the primary suspension hardware, then connect the EUROLITE AG-5 safety rope as a secondary attachment between the fixture and a secure overhead point. Ensure each of the three 600 mm legs is properly connected and that connection points are compatible with the rope end fittings. Verify that the safety rope is not twisted or damaged before lifting, and confirm connections after final positioning of the equipment. Use the safety rope only within its specified load rating and as an additional safeguard rather than the primary support.

Recommendations

Inspect the safety rope before each use for signs of wear, fraying, corrosion at fittings, or other damage. Do not exceed the 5 kg rated load; if the application approaches this limit, select a higher-capacity solution. Replace the safety rope if any damage or deformation is detected, and follow venue and industry rigging guidelines when installing as a secondary attachment.
