Vivolink PROHDMIOP40AM HDMI-kabel 40 m HDMI Type-A (standaard) zwart

The Vivolink PROHDMIOP40AM is a 40 m HDMI Type A cable designed for high-definition video and audio transmission over long distances. It supports HDMI 2.0 features including 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, HDR up to 12-bit, HDCP 2.2, 3D formats and ARC. The cable has a slim 4.0 mm diameter, gold-plated contacts and a data rate of up to 18 Gbit/s, suitable for installations where high resolution is required at extended runs.

Advantages

The cable provides full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth (18 Gbit/s) and supports 4K/60Hz 4:4:4 and HDR 12-bit, enabling accurate colour and high-resolution video. Its slim 4.0 mm profile makes routing through conduits and tight spaces easier than thicker cables. Gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors ensure reliable contact and reduced corrosion over time. Built to withstand physical strain, the cable specifies a tensile pull resistance of 20 kg and a maximum pressure load of 305 kg.

Suitable for

• Connecting 4K/60Hz displays, projectors or TVs over long distances
• Home cinema and AV installations requiring HDR and 4:4:4 chroma
• Setups needing ARC (Audio Return Channel) support
• Runs through conduits or cable trays where a slim cable profile is needed

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the source device (such as a Blu-ray player, PC, AV receiver or media player) and the other end to the display or projector. Ensure both devices support the chosen resolution and HDR settings. Route the slim cable through conduits or cable channels as required, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. If using ARC, enable ARC/eARC settings in both the TV and audio device menus where applicable.

Recommendations

For reliable signal quality, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-power electrical wiring. Maintain gentle bend radii and avoid kinking; secure cable ends to prevent strain on connectors. Verify device HDMI settings and HDCP compatibility when using protected content.
