Vivolink PROMJDSUB9-25 seriële kabel zwart 25 m 3,5 mm D-Sub (DB-9)

The Vivolink PROMJDSUB9-25 is a 25 m black serial cable with a 3.5 mm to D-Sub (DB-9) connector designed for reliable serial data transmission. It features a pure copper conductor and heavy-duty 24AWG construction for durability, double shielding to reduce interference and a gold-plated connector for improved contact and corrosion resistance. The cable weighs 0.65 kg and is intended for use where stable serial connectivity is required in both home and professional environments.

Advantages

Pure copper conductor and 24AWG heavy-duty build provide stable electrical signals and increased mechanical robustness. Double shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference for clearer data transfer. Gold-plated connector improves contact reliability and resists corrosion. The 25 m length allows flexible placement of connected devices without relying on extenders.

Suitable for

• Connecting serial devices such as modems, routers, industrial controllers and POS terminals
• Professional AV setups and broadcast equipment requiring long serial runs
• Remote diagnostics and maintenance where a reliable DB-9 connection is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Conductor: pure copper, 24AWG (heavy duty)
• Shielding: double-shielded
• Connector 1: 3.5 mm
• Connector 2: D-Sub (DB-9), gold-plated
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.65 kg

How to use

Connect the 3.5 mm end and the D-Sub (DB-9) end to the corresponding ports on your devices, ensuring connectors are aligned before inserting. Use the cable for serial communication between equipment; verify device settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits) match on both ends for proper data exchange. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference when possible.

Recommendations

For best results, secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors, avoid tight coils that can damage the conductor, and periodically inspect the gold-plated connector for debris or oxidation. In high-interference environments, maintain distance from power cables and large motors.
