Wandgemonteerde 19-inch rackkast DIGITUS Dynamic-N DN-37106 — 9U, 600x600 mm, IP20, slot met sleutel

The DIGITUS Dynamic-N DN-37106 is a wall-mounted 19" rack cabinet designed for small server, network and telecom installations. This unmounted 9U enclosure measures 600×600 mm (W×D) and offers IP20 protection. Constructed from 1.0–1.2 mm powder-coated sheet steel in light grey, the cabinet includes adjustable 19" profile rails front and rear, cable entry points at the rear, roof and base, ventilation slots, and a lockable front door with a steel frame and safety glass. The unit supports a maximum equipment load of up to 60 kg and is supplied unassembled for easier transport and installation.

Advantages

The cabinet provides a compact and robust mounting solution for racks of active and passive equipment with adjustable internal rails and marked height units for straightforward device installation. Pre-punched cable inlets and a roof prepared for a fan module simplify cable routing and ventilation upgrades. Removable side panels and a lockable front door improve access and security while the powder-coated steel construction ensures mechanical stability and corrosion resistance for typical indoor installations.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Mounting small network switches, patch panels and routers in office or server room wall spaces
• Securing telecom equipment in comms cupboards or network nooks where floor space is limited
• Enclosing monitoring, security or edge computing devices requiring a 19" 9U mount
• Environments requiring basic protection and controlled access (IP20 indoor use)

When it may not be suitable

This cabinet is intended for indoor use where IP20 protection is sufficient and is not designed for outdoor exposure or dusty/wet environments requiring higher ingress protection. It supports up to 60 kg of installed equipment; for heavier loads or larger installations you should consider a free-standing or higher-capacity cabinet.

How to use

Unpack the flat-packed cabinet and follow the supplied assembly instructions to attach panels, doors and rails. First mount the included wall plate to a suitable load-bearing wall at the required height, ensuring correct anchoring for the cabinet weight plus equipment. Assemble the enclosure around the plate, fit and adjust the 19" profile rails to the required depth and install devices beginning from the lowest U position. Route cables through the pre-punched inlets at the base, rear or roof and use the cable management features to separate power and data runs. If additional extraction or active cooling is needed, install a compatible fan unit in the prepared roof area. Lock the front door with the key lock to restrict access.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm internal installation depth required for your equipment (standard max installation depth: approx. 369–470 mm)
• Check the combined weight of devices to ensure it does not exceed the 60 kg load limit
• Verify that IP20 protection level suits the intended indoor environment
• Plan wall fixing points and ensure the mounting surface can bear the cabinet plus equipment weight

Recommendations

Install the cabinet on a solid wall using appropriate anchors; distribute heavy equipment evenly between rails and secure all devices with proper 19" fasteners. Use the pre-punched roof opening for a fan if temperatures or airflow are a concern, and keep cable paths organised to maintain airflow and simplify maintenance.
