Waterblock Brimarex BARROWCH LTYK3A-04 V2 voor AMD socket AM4/AM5, acryl, zwart

Brimarex BARROWCH LTYK3A-04 V2 is an acrylic CPU water block for custom liquid-cooling loops. It is designed to fit AMD Socket AM4 and AM5 processors and combines an acrylic top with a brass cold plate to provide direct-die heat transfer for improved temperature control in desktop PCs.

Advantages

The water block delivers efficient heat conduction through a brass base while the acrylic top offers visual integration with custom loop components. Its compatibility with both AM4 and AM5 sockets simplifies upgrades between recent AMD platforms. The black finish provides a neutral appearance that matches most system builds.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid-cooling loops
• AMD desktop CPUs on Socket AM4 and AM5
• Enthusiast builds that require a visible acrylic top

When it may not be suitable

This water block is intended for custom water-cooling systems and is not a drop-in solution for air-cooled setups or closed-loop (AIO) coolers. It requires compatible tubing/fittings and basic knowledge of liquid-cooling assembly and maintenance.

Key specifications

• Type: CPU water block
• Supported sockets: Socket AM4, Socket AM5
• Top material: Acrylic
• Base material: Brass
• Finish: Black
• Fitting size: 1/4"

How to use

Install the water block as part of a custom liquid-cooling loop following manufacturer guidelines: mount it to the CPU socket using the appropriate AM4 or AM5 bracket, ensure the brass cold plate contacts the CPU die or IHS as specified, connect inlet and outlet fittings and tubing (1/4" compatible), leak-test the loop, and fill with coolant. Power on the loop pump only after a successful leak test and monitor temperatures during first operation.

What to consider before purchase

• Requires a custom water-cooling loop (not an AIO)
• Ensure compatibility with your case space and tubing/fitting sizes
• Requires basic skills for installation and leak testing

Recommendations

Use high-quality fittings and tubing sized to 1/4" connections, perform a 24-hour leak test before regular operation, and use compatible coolant to avoid corrosion or deposits that could reduce performance.
