The Goobay 64800 DisplayPort cable is a 5 m black cable with DisplayPort connectors on both ends, designed for transmitting high-definition video and audio between compatible devices. With a 6 mm diameter and a full-size DisplayPort connector on each end, this cable supports a reliable direct connection between computers, monitors and projectors. The cable's length provides flexibility in desktop and conference-room setups while maintaining a single-cable solution for signal transfer.

Advantages

The Goobay 64800 cable offers stable signal transmission over a 5 m run and a compact 6 mm cable diameter that eases routing behind furniture and through cable channels. Using DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connections ensures compatibility with devices that support the DisplayPort standard and allows digital video and audio to pass through a single connector. The black PVC jacket provides a neutral appearance and basic protection for daily use.

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the DisplayPort output of your computer or laptop and the other connector to the DisplayPort input of a monitor or projector. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until they click into place if equipped with a latch. After connecting, select the appropriate input source on the display and configure resolution and refresh rate in the operating system’s display settings as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the 5 m cable length and route the cable away from high-power electrical cables to minimise potential interference. Check that both devices support the required display modes and adjust scaling and refresh rate in system settings to match your monitor capabilities.
