Wentronic netwerkkabel 2m Cat8.1 S/FTP RJ-45 wit

The Wentronic 61105 networking cable is a 2 m Cat8.1 S/FTP RJ-45 patch cable in white. It supports Cat 8.1 specifications to transmit data at very high rates and can be used within copper-based structured cabling to achieve speeds up to 40 GBit/s when combined with Cat 8.1-compatible couplers and installation cables. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors for standard network device connections and is intended for high-performance local area network links.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 S/FTP cable provides shielding on each pair plus overall foil to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. At 2 meters length it is suitable for short interconnections in racks or between devices, delivering up to 40 GBit/s within Cat 8.1 infrastructure. The white jacket gives a neat appearance for visible cable runs and the standard RJ-45 ends ensure compatibility with common network ports.

Suitable for

• High-speed patching between switches, servers and network appliances
• Server racks and data cabinet short links
• Workstation connections requiring low interference and high bandwidth
• Upgrading copper-based LAN segments to Cat8.1 performance

Key specifications

• Brand: WENTRONIC
• Model / MPN: 61105
• EAN: 4040849611056
• Type: Cat8.1 S/FTP patch cable
• Connector: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 2 m
• Color: White
• Maximum data rate (within Cat8.1 link): up to 40 GBit/s

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the corresponding network port on your devices, switches or couplers. Ensure the cable is used within a Cat 8.1-compliant link—this includes Cat8.1-rated couplers and installation cabling—if you require maximum throughput up to 40 GBit/s. For standard Ethernet links the cable functions as a direct copper patch cord and requires no configuration.

Recommendations

Install the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it close to strong sources of electromagnetic interference. For full 40 GBit/s performance, use Cat 8.1-compatible components and keep cable runs within recommended maximum lengths for copper Cat8.1 channel segments.
