Netwerkkabel Goobay 96321 oranje 2m Cat6a U/UTP

The Goobay 96321 networking cable is a 2 meter Cat6a U/UTP patch cable in orange with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for structured cabling and point-to-point connections, this cable supports higher bandwidths and improved signal integrity compared with earlier categories. The bright orange jacket makes the cable easy to identify in crowded racks and cable runs while the slim profile and flexible sheath simplify routing in tight spaces.

Advantages

This Cat6a U/UTP cable provides enhanced performance for demanding network applications, delivering lower crosstalk and improved near-end crosstalk (NEXT) characteristics typical of the Cat6a category. The standardized RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with network switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. The 2 m length offers a convenient balance between reach and cable management in desktop, server rack or wall-mounted installations. The orange outer jacket increases visibility for identification and troubleshooting.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (augmented performance for frequencies up to 500 MHz)
• Type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with unshielded overall jacket)
• Length: 2 m
• Connector: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Orange
• Typical uses: Ethernet networks up to 10 Gbps over appropriate channel distances

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other plug to the switch, router or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference and avoid tight bends or kinks to maintain signal integrity and cable longevity.

Recommendations

For reliable 10 Gbps operation, use in a compliant Cat6a channel with compatible hardware and observe recommended maximum channel lengths. Store and handle the cable without excessive pulling force; avoid running parallel to power lines where possible. The bright orange jacket is useful for color-coded installations and easy fault identification.
