Netwerkkabel Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF grijs 305 m

The Goobay Network Cable CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF in grey (305 m) is a bulk-installation cable designed for structured networks in homes and offices. It features a pair in metal foil (PiMF) configuration with S/FTP shielding that reduces electromagnetic interference and preserves signal integrity across long runs, supporting high-speed data transmission and high-resolution video applications such as 8K @ 60 Hz and 4K @ 120 Hz.

Advantages

High-quality inner conductors and robust outer sheathing provide mechanical durability and consistent electrical performance. The S/FTP (overall braid + foil around pairs) shielding improves resistance to crosstalk and external noise, while the PiMF pairing ensures stable signal balance. The 305 m reel length is suitable for large installations, minimizing the need for joins.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in homes and small-to-medium offices
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to CAT6 performance
• Transmission of high-resolution video (e.g., 4K/120 Hz, 8K/60 Hz) over structured cabling
• Long cable runs where reduced interference is required

How to use

Pull the cable from the reel and route it through conduits or across ceilings and walls according to your network plan. Terminate each end with CAT6-compatible RJ45 connectors or keystone jacks, observing correct pair order and maintaining appropriate twist lengths. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, and close parallel runs with power cables. Test continuity and performance (e.g., cable tester or certifier) after termination.

Recommendations

For installations requiring optimal noise immunity, use the S/FTP shielding with grounded patch panels and metal enclosures. Keep cable runs within recommended length limits for Ethernet standards and perform certification for critical deployments.
