Netwerkkabel Goobay RJ-45 CAT 6a 0,5 m

Goobay RJ-45 CAT 6a 0.5m flat networking cable with U/UTP construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors. The slim, flat design (approx. 1.6 mm x 6 mm) and low bending radius make the cable suitable for discreet routing under laminate, along skirting boards or through tight spaces while maintaining high-speed CAT6a performance. The molded connector with slim line strain relief improves durability and handling.

Advantages

The flat profile allows easy installation in narrow gaps and under flooring without raising surfaces. Gold-plated contacts provide stable conductivity and corrosion resistance. Molded connectors with strain relief reduce connector stress and extend service life. U/UTP shielding supports reliable data transmission for high-speed network links.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers and switches in home or small office networks
• Installation under laminate or along walls where space is limited
• Patching between wall connectors and patch panels

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT 6a
• Length: 0.5 m
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall braid absent)
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable dimensions: approx. 1.6 mm x 6 mm (flat)
• Strain relief: molded slim line
• Color: magenta

How to use

Route the flat cable along the desired path, keeping bends gentle to respect the low bending radius. Insert RJ-45 plugs fully into corresponding ports on devices, patch panels or wall connectors until they click. Use cable clips or adhesive channels for a neat installation when running the cable along skirting boards or underneath flooring. Avoid sharp kinks and excessive pulling force on the connectors.

Recommendations

Avoid running the cable in direct contact with power lines to minimize potential interference. For permanent in-wall installations consult local regulations and consider using cables certified for in-wall use.
