Netwerkkabel Goobay RJ-45 CAT6 1 m geel U/UTP

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT6 1m Yellow U/UTP networking cable is a flat, slim Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. With a one-meter length and distinct yellow jacket, it is easy to route and identify when organizing network installations. The cable features molded RJ-45 connectors with strain relief and gold-plated contacts to maintain secure, corrosion-resistant connections.

Advantages

This flat CAT6 cable has an outer dimension of approximately 1.5 mm x 6 mm, offering a low profile that fits easily under laminate flooring or along skirting boards. Its construction provides a low bending radius and the jacket is easy to scribe for neat routing. The molded connector with slim-line strain relief ensures durability, and gold-plated contacts improve signal reliability and resistance to oxidation.

Suitable for

• Home networking between routers, switches and computers
• Office workstations and patch panel connections
• Concealed routing under flooring or along walls
• Temporary or visible cable runs where easy identification is required

Key specifications

• Standard: RJ-45 CAT6
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Outer dimensions: approx. 1.5 mm x 6 mm
• Connectors: molded RJ-45 with slim strain relief
• Contacts: gold-plated

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, PC) and the other to the target device or patch panel. Route the flat cable along baseboards, under laminate, or through cable channels; its low profile allows discreet installation. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the strain relief during installation to maintain connector integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle curves rather than tight bends. Use the yellow color to label or mark connection points for easier management.
