Netwerkkabel PremiumCord SP6ASFTP010V RJ-45 Cat6a 1 m violet

The PremiumCord SP6ASFTP010V RJ-45 Cat6a 1 m Violet networking cable is a shielded patch cable designed for gigabit and 10-gigabit Ethernet applications over short runs. Built to the Cat6a performance class, the cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, and it is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The 1 m length and violet jacket make it suitable for organized patching within racks, cabinets or desktop setups where clear cable identification is needed.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. Compliance with Cat6a performance characteristics ensures support for 10 000 Mbit/s data rates under appropriate network conditions. The factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors guarantee reliable contact and consistent performance without the need for onsite connector assembly. The 1 m length reduces excess cable slack in patch panels and short links, and the violet colour assists with visual cable management.

Suitable for

• Short links between patch panels and switches in data cabinets
• Desktop connections where colour-coded cabling is preferred
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to Cat6a performance within 1 m runs
• Environments requiring improved shielding against interference

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (subject to network equipment)
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: Violet

How to use

Route the cable between two RJ-45 ports ensuring the connectors are fully inserted until they click. For optimal signal integrity, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from high-power electrical equipment where possible. Use the 1 m length for short patching runs in racks, cabinets or between adjacent devices; secure the cable with Velcro or cable ties to maintain orderly routing and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair this Cat6a S/FTP cable with compatible shielded network equipment and maintain proper grounding of rack and patch panels. When used for 10 Gbit/s applications, keep link lengths within recommended distances and verify network settings on switches and NICs.
