Wireless Access Point Zyxel NWA240BE — dual-/tri-band 2,4/5/6 GHz, PoE, 1× RJ-45, wit

Zyxel NWA240BE is a ceiling or wall-mount wireless access point providing tri-band connectivity across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz. It supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards and uses Power over Ethernet (PoE) to enable single-cable deployment. The unit includes one RJ-45 Ethernet port and comes in white, designed for small to medium business environments or dense home networks where multi-band performance and simplified installation are required.

Advantages

The access point delivers simultaneous operation on 2.4/5/6 GHz bands for increased capacity and reduced interference in congested environments. PoE support allows flexible placement without a nearby power outlet and simplifies cabling. Compliance with current Wi‑Fi standards ensures compatibility with a wide range of client devices, while the compact indoor design permits ceiling or wall mounting.

Suitable for

• Small and medium-sized offices
• Dense residential or multi-dwelling unit deployments
• Conference rooms and classrooms
• Retail spaces and small commercial locations

How to use

Mount the Zyxel NWA240BE on a ceiling or wall near your network cabling route. Connect a PoE-capable switch or PoE injector to the RJ-45 port to provide both power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable. Configure SSIDs, security settings and radio bands using the device’s management interface or via supported network controllers according to your network plan. Place additional access points as needed to achieve full coverage.

Recommendations

Install the access point centrally in the coverage area and avoid placing it close to large metal objects or thick concrete walls to minimise signal obstruction. Use PoE switches that meet the device’s power requirements and plan channel/band allocation to reduce co-channel interference in multi-AP deployments.
