Zuilluidspreker Omnitronic PCS-280 IP44 — Omnitronic PCS-280, weerbestendige IP44-zuilluidspreker

Omnitronic PCS-280 IP44 is a slim column speaker engineered for public address and background music in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The unit features an IP44 splash protection rating, a narrow vertical enclosure for directional sound dispersion, and a mounting concept designed for permanent installations in retail spaces, hospitality venues, corridors and halls where discreet, space-saving audio coverage is required.

Advantages

The column form factor delivers even coverage along a vertical plane while reducing reflections from floors and ceilings. Weather-resistant construction with an IP44 rating protects against splashes and makes the speaker suitable for covered outdoor locations or areas with occasional moisture. Built for fixed mounting, the speaker offers straightforward installation and a compact visual profile that integrates into public and commercial interiors.

How to use

Mount the Omnitronic PCS-280 IP44 on a suitable stable surface using the supplied or recommended mounting hardware, observing the manufacturer’s installation instructions and local electrical codes. Connect the speaker to an appropriate amplifier or paging system, ensuring impedance and power ratings are compatible. Position the column vertically to take advantage of the directional dispersion; aim the coverage toward the listening area and away from reflective surfaces when possible. For sheltered outdoor use, install the speaker under a canopy or overhang to maintain the IP44 protection from direct exposure to heavy rain.

Recommendations

For best results in public address and background music applications, pair the speaker with an amplifier that matches the speaker’s power handling and impedance, and place columns to cover elongated areas such as corridors or aisles rather than single-point locations. Regularly inspect mounting points and wiring in environments with moisture exposure to maintain reliable operation.
