Zyxel WAX300H 2400 Mbit/s wit Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The Zyxel WAX300H access point delivers reliable Wi‑Fi 6 connectivity for hotel guest rooms and similar in-room deployments. Designed to support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the device offers AX3000 performance with support for 160 MHz channels, PoE power and four Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 uplink + 3 downlinks), enabling wired and wireless services from a single compact unit.

Advantages

WAX300H provides improved throughput and capacity with Wi‑Fi 6 and optional 160 MHz channel operation, allowing faster speeds for bandwidth‑intensive applications. The unit combines an access point and a small in-room switch, reducing the need for additional power outlets and simplifying cabling by supplying PoE on a downlink port for devices such as VoIP phones. Integration with Nebula management and its WiFi Aid tools helps administrators monitor connection quality and proactively diagnose guest connectivity issues. Multiple mounting options and a slim cable channel support discreet installation in rooms.

Optional PoE on a downlink port can power in-room devices such as VoIP phones. Configure wireless SSIDs, security settings (WPA/WPA2/WPA3) and any VLANs via the local interface or through Zyxel Nebula cloud management.

Recommendations

For optimal guest experience, enable 160 MHz channel support only where RF congestion is low and regulatory rules permit; use Nebula WiFi Aid to monitor client performance and proactively adjust radio settings. Place the device centrally in the room and limit obstructions to maintain stable coverage.
