The ACT AC4415 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch allows one to set up a network easy and fast. The gigabit Ethernet switch is suitable for desk and wall mounting. The solid metal fanless design ensures better heat dissipation and prevents excess noise. The AC4415 has additional features such as auto-negotiation and automatic cross-over detection. The status LEDs are showing the power, link and activity status.

The Ethernet switch has 5 independent 10/100/1000Mbps ports supporting full-wire speed transmissions in half or full duplex modes.

Solid metal and fan less design

How to use

Place the ACT AC4415 on a flat surface or mount it to a wall using the provided mounting holes. Connect the switch to your router or another network device using a standard Ethernet cable. Plug in power and check the LEDs for power, link and activity status. Connect end devices (PCs, printers, NAS) to the remaining RJ-45 ports; the switch will automatically negotiate the correct speed and duplex settings.

Recommendations

Install the switch in a well-ventilated area to ensure passive cooling. Use Cat5e or higher cables to achieve Gigabit performance. For uninterrupted performance, connect the switch to a stable power source and avoid stacking heavy equipment on top of the metal case.
