ACT blauw 7 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A MPTL-verlengkabel, vergrendelingsbeveiliging, met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Blue 7m LSZH S/FTP CAT6A MPTL extension cable with snagless RJ45 connectors extends a fixed network link to a consolidation point while remaining compliant with MPTL (ANSI/TIA-568.2-D). Designed for plenum spaces, the 7 m cable uses 26 AWG full copper conductors, S/FTP shielding and a LSZH jacket that limits smoke and halogen emission in case of fire.

Advantages

This MPTL extension cable can be fully included in the permanent link, preserving ANSI/TIA-568.2-D compliance and avoiding the signal degradation associated with RJ45 couplers. The cable features 50 µ gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts for stable connectivity, a dust cover for the plug and snagless boots to protect the clip. S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference, supporting high‑speed CAT6A performance.

Suitable for

• Extending network connections for IP cameras
• Extending links for wireless access points
• Use in plenum or other low‑smoke environments
• Permanent link installations requiring MPTL compliance

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7 m
• Cable category: CAT6A S/FTP
• Standard compliance: MPTL (ANSI/TIA-568.2-D)
• Conductor: 26 AWG full copper
• Contacts: 50 µ gold‑plated RJ‑45
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connectors: Snagless RJ‑45 to RJ‑45
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 end of the ACT Blue MPTL extension cable to the device or fixed cable outlet and the other end to the consolidation point or patch panel. Ensure the cable is routed through the plenum or ceiling space as required and secured to avoid strain. Because the cable is designed for inclusion in the permanent link, do not insert additional couplers between the extension and permanent link if you need full ANSI/TIA‑568.2‑D compliance.

Recommendations

Install and route the cable according to local building and fire codes for LSZH cabling. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; maintain recommended bend radius and keep the cable away from high‑voltage power lines to minimize interference.
