ACT grijs 0,5 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Grey 0.5m LSZH S/FTP CAT6A patch cable provides a short, reliable connection for network equipment. Constructed with an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket and S/FTP shielding, this 0.5 metre cable reduces interference and limits harmful smoke and halogen emissions in the event of fire, making it suitable for enclosed or poorly ventilated environments. It is fitted with high-quality gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and is designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems.

Advantages

LSZH jacket material reduces the risk of toxic gas release and dense smoke in case of fire. S/FTP shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference for stable, high-speed connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The compact 0.5 m length is convenient for patching between nearby ports and reduces cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Short links between network switches and patch panels
• Connections in server rooms and data cabinets
• Networking in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces, such as trains or vehicles
• Workstation and office desk patching

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding LAN ports on devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or networked equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use the 0.5 m cable for short point-to-point connections to maintain tidy cable management and minimize signal degradation from unnecessary cable length. Avoid tight bends and kinks near the connector ends to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this S/FTP CAT6A LSZH patch cable for links up to 0.5 m in structured cabling environments. Keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines and avoid exposure to sharp edges. In installations where fire safety and low smoke emissions are important, prefer LSZH-jacketed cables like this model.
