ACT grijs 15 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Grey 15 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable (model IB4015, EAN 8716065307108) is a 15 m RJ-45 to RJ-45 network cable designed for high-speed data transmission. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket that limits the release of toxic gases and dense smoke in case of fire. The cable is suitable for indoor installations where low smoke and low halogen emissions are required and complies with CPR Euroclass: Eca.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference, supporting reliable high-bandwidth connections. The LSZH jacket reduces the risk of toxic fumes and dense smoke in confined or poorly ventilated spaces. With standard RJ-45 connectors at both ends and a 15 m length, the cable offers a straightforward plug-and-play solution for network linking while maintaining a neutral grey appearance.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within offices and data closets
• Network runs in public transport vehicles and other poorly ventilated indoor spaces
• High-speed internet and data transfer applications requiring CAT6A performance

How to use

Uncoil the ACT CAT6A S/FTP cable and connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (for example, switch to computer or router to modem). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight kinks; maintain recommended bend radius for category cabling to preserve signal quality. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management while avoiding compressive stress on the jacket and connectors.

Recommendations

Use the LSZH CAT6A cable indoors and in poorly ventilated environments where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are preferred. Avoid outdoor exposure and direct UV or moisture contact; for external runs, choose cables rated for outdoor use. For optimal performance at CAT6A speeds, keep cable runs within standard length recommendations and minimize proximity to high-power electrical cables.
