ACT Oranje 7 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline-patchkabel, rastnasvrij, met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 7 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and network cabinets. Its slimline 3.8 mm diameter construction reduces the bending radius compared with regular CAT6A patch cords, improving airflow in server racks. The U/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and interference, and gold-plated RJ45 contacts provide reliable connectivity. The LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic gas emission in enclosed spaces.

Advantages

Compared with standard CAT6A patch cords, the slimline design (3.8 mm) enables tighter routing and better airflow in dense rack environments. U/FTP shielding provides improved immunity to external interference. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the latch during installation, and gold-plated contacts ensure consistent signal transfer. The LSZH jacket offers increased safety in data centers and other enclosed areas.

Suitable for

• High-density data center patching and top-of-rack connections
• Network cabinets and server racks with limited cable space
• Applications requiring U/FTP shielding to minimise interference
• Environments where low-smoke, zero-halogen materials are preferred

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/FTP CAT6A slimline patch cable
• Length: 7 m
• Diameter: approximately 3.8 mm (slimline)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless design, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Route the cable between network equipment ports or patch panels, ensuring the bend radius is not exceeded. Insert the RJ45 connectors fully into the corresponding ports until the latch clicks. The snagless boot protects the latch during installation and removal. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable and keep runs within recommended lengths for CAT6A installations.

Recommendations

Use up to 24 slimline cables in a bundled PoE application as a guideline to limit temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A recommends that the temperature increase for the center cable remain below 15°C above ambient. Note that very thin conductors (for example 32 AWG) can increase attenuation at higher frequencies; follow ISO/IEC and TIA guidelines for AWG selection when signal loss is a concern.
