ACT zwart 2 meter U/UTP CAT6 patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Black 2 meter U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a 2 m networking cable designed for standard Ethernet connections. It uses U/UTP CAT6 construction with AWG#24 conductors, a PVC sheath in RAL 9011 black, and RJ45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to support reliable signal transmission up to the cable's rated bandwidth of 250 MHz.

Advantages

The cable provides CAT6 performance suitable for high-speed data transfer, with gold-plated RJ45 contacts for improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Its PVC sheath and solid AWG#24 conductors offer mechanical durability and stable electrical characteristics. The 2 m length and black RAL 9011 finish make it convenient for short patch runs and tidy cable management in networking racks or office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers over short distances
• Patching between network equipment in racks and patch panels
• Office and home LAN wiring requiring CAT6 performance

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP CAT6
• Length: 2 m
• Bandwidth: 250 MHz
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Sheath material: PVC
• Colour: Black (RAL 9011)

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices (for example, a computer and a switch). Ensure connectors click into place to confirm secure contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain separation from strong electromagnetic sources when possible to preserve signal integrity. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to organize and protect the patch cable.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6 patch cable for short to medium-length Ethernet links where CAT6 performance is required. Avoid outdoor exposure and direct UV sunlight; replace the cable if the sheath or connectors show visible damage. For longer runs or outdoor installations, choose an appropriate outdoor-rated or shielded cable type.
