ACT Zwart 3 m U/FTP CAT6A LSZH Slimline-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers 90° haaks links naar recht

ACT CAT6A U/FTP LSZH Slimline Patch Cable, 3 m long, is a reduced-diameter network patch cord designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. The cable uses U/FTP shielding and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket to limit smoke and toxic gas release in case of fire. One end has a 90° left-angled RJ45 plug and the other end a straight RJ45 plug, making the cable suitable for tight routing behind equipment and inside network cabinets while maintaining an appropriate bend radius.

Advantages

The slimline design (approx. 3.8 mm outer diameter) reduces cable bulk and improves airflow in server racks and network cabinets compared with standard CAT6A patch cords. Full-copper 32AWG conductors and 50 µm gold-plated RJ45 contacts ensure reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The LSZH jacket lowers the risk of hazardous gases in case of cable damage by fire or short circuit. Cables are manufactured and tested to meet international standards.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

The slim 3.8 mm diameter and 32AWG conductors prioritize space savings and flexibility; for very long runs or installations where maximum mechanical robustness is required, thicker cables with larger gauge conductors may be preferable. If a different connector orientation is needed at either end, versions with angled up, down or right plugs should be selected.

How to use

Route the cable through the rack or cabinet, ensuring the 90° left-angled plug fits the constrained side where space is limited and the straight plug connects to the opposite port. Avoid sharp bends beyond the cable’s recommended bend radius and secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories to maintain airflow and prevent strain on connectors. Verify link speed and shielding continuity after installation.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use this slimline CAT6A U/FTP LSZH patch cable where reduced diameter and an angled left plug improve routing in dense racks; maintain gentle bends, secure with cable management, and test network links after installation.
