ACT zwart 5 meter U/UTP CAT6A LSZH slimline patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers 90° haaks links naar recht

ACT Black 5m RJ45 Cat6A U/UTP slimline patch cable is a 5-meter straight-through network cable with one straight RJ45 connector and one 90° angled left RJ45 connector. The slimline design (3.6 mm diameter) reduces cable bulk and allows a smaller bend radius compared with standard Cat6A patch cords, improving airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The LSZH jacket reduces the release of toxic gases in case of fire. The cable uses 28 AWG full copper conductors and 50 µ gold-plated RJ45 contacts and meets the ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standard.

Advantages

The slimline U/UTP construction provides a smaller diameter and reduced bend radius for neater cable management and better rack airflow. The combination of a straight and 90° angled left RJ45 connector enables connections in tight spaces without compromising the bend radius. LSZH jacketing minimizes harmful smoke and halogen emissions in enclosed environments. Gold-plated contacts and full copper 28 AWG conductors ensure reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance.

How to use

Connect the straight RJ45 end and the 90° angled left RJ45 end to the corresponding ports on your devices, patch panels or switches. Route the slimline cable through cable management channels or behind equipment, taking advantage of the reduced diameter and bend radius to maintain tidy runs and improved airflow. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection.

Recommendations

Route cables with gentle bends and avoid sharp kinks. Do not exceed the recommended bend radius for Cat6A cables despite the slimline design. Use appropriate cable management accessories in racks and cabinets to keep airflow unobstructed and to prevent strain on connectors.
