Adapter VivoLink HDMI & USB-A naar USB-C PROADHDMI 4K-resolutie compatibel

The VivoLink PROADHDMI adapter combines HDMI and USB-A to USB-C connectivity in a compact dongle designed to bridge older peripherals and displays with modern USB-C devices. It provides HDMI video output compatible with up to 4K resolution and retains a USB-A passthrough so legacy devices such as flash drives, keyboards or mice can remain connected. The adapter is intended for scenarios where a USB-C host requires both an external display and continued use of USB-A accessories for presentations, media playback, or extended workstation setups.

Advantages

The adapter supports UHD video output up to 4K, allowing high-resolution content to be shown on external monitors or projectors while keeping a simple, single-cable connection to the host. Its integrated USB-A port maintains compatibility with legacy accessories without requiring an additional hub. The compact form factor makes it easy to carry and use in mobile workflows, and plug-and-play operation minimizes setup time on most systems that support USB-C video output.

Suitable for

• Presentations with HDMI projectors or large-screen displays
• Streaming or playing 4K video from a USB-C laptop or tablet
• Using USB-A peripherals alongside a USB-C display output
• Extending a workspace with an external monitor in home or office setups

How to use

Connect the USB-C end of the VivoLink PROADHDMI adapter to the USB-C port on your host device. Plug an HDMI cable from the adapter to the external monitor or projector. If you need to use a USB-A peripheral, insert it into the adapter’s USB-A port. Most supported systems will detect the external display automatically; adjust resolution and display settings from the host operating system if required. Disconnect the adapter by removing the USB-C connector when finished.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with a high-quality HDMI cable rated for the intended resolution to ensure stable 4K output. Verify that the host device supports USB-C video (DisplayPort Alt Mode or equivalent) before use. For uninterrupted performance during presentations or media playback, keep connected peripherals and displays powered according to their manufacturer guidance.
