Barrow adapter TDWT90-V2.5 S — draaibare G1/4 inch buitendraad naar G1/4 inch binnendraad, zilver

Barrow Adapter TDWT90-V2.5 S is a rotatable metal adapter that converts a G1/4" male (AG) thread to a G1/4" female (IG) thread in a compact silver finish. Intended for use with liquid-cooling and plumbing fittings in computer systems, the adapter provides a swiveling 90-degree connection point that helps align fittings, reduce hose stress, and simplify installations in confined spaces. The construction emphasizes durability and reliable sealing while preserving thread compatibility with standard G1/4" components.

Advantages

The rotatable design enables precise angular adjustment without rotating the connected hose or block, minimizing twisting and strain on soft tubing. Metal construction offers improved mechanical strength and wear resistance compared with many plastic alternatives, while the compact form factor maintains low profile clearance for tight builds. The adapter maintains standard G1/4" thread compatibility, ensuring broad interoperability with common liquid-cooling parts.

Suitable for

• Routing coolant lines in PC liquid-cooling loops where space is limited
• Connecting fittings at non-aligned angles to radiators, pumps, or water blocks
• Reducing stress and twisting on soft tubing during installation
• Systems requiring standard G1/4" thread compatibility and a compact swivel solution

Key specifications

• Thread type: G1/4" male to G1/4" female
• Orientation: rotatable 90-degree adapter (swivel)
• Material: metal construction (silver finish)
• Finish: silver, compact form factor
• Intended use: liquid-cooling and plumbing fittings for computer systems

How to use

Thread the male G1/4" end of the adapter into the corresponding female port until hand-tight, then make final adjustments by rotating the swivel portion to achieve the desired angle before fully securing with a wrench if necessary. Connect the G1/4" female side to the mating male fitting or barb, ensuring proper thread engagement and any required sealing tape or O-rings are in place according to the mating component's instructions. Verify alignment and tighten to a snug fit without over-torquing to avoid damage to threads or seals.

Recommendations

Use with compatible G1/4" fittings and follow manufacturer guidance for sealing methods. Inspect threads and seals periodically for leaks after initial installation and during maintenance. Avoid excessive torque when tightening to preserve thread integrity and sealing surfaces.
