Barrow G1/4 inch buitendraad-adapter, 10 mm, zilver, model TB2D-02 s

Barrow Adapter G1/4" AG to G1/4" AG 10mm silver TB2D-02 s is a compact threaded coupling designed to connect two G1/4" threaded components with a fixed 10 mm length in water-cooling and fluid-management systems. The adapter features a male-to-male G1/4" thread interface on both ends and a silver metallic finish suitable for visible installations and fittings inside PC water-cooling loops or other low-pressure liquid circuits.

Advantages

The adapter provides a standardized G1/4" threaded connection that enables secure, leak-minimizing joins between fittings, tubing adapters, and blocks. Its short 10 mm body reduces unwanted spacing between components, helping to achieve compact layouts. The silver finish offers corrosion resistance appropriate for typical coolant environments and a neutral appearance that integrates with many system styles. The brass-based construction ensures mechanical durability under normal operating conditions for consumer liquid-cooling setups.

Suitable for

• PC liquid-cooling loops where a short male-to-male G1/4" connection is required
• Joining two G1/4" threaded fittings or components with minimal gap
• Retrofit or custom routing in compact or confined installation spaces

Key specifications

• Thread type: G1/4" male to G1/4" male
• Overall length (approximate usable length): 10 mm between thread faces
• Finish: silver metallic
• Material: metal alloy suitable for fluid fittings
• Intended pressure class: consumer PC liquid-cooling and low-pressure fluid systems

How to use

Ensure both mating threads are clean and free of debris. Hand-start the adapter into the first G1/4" female port, then tighten by hand until snug. Use an appropriate wrench to apply a further small turn if required, taking care not to overtighten and damage threads or sealing surfaces. If the system design requires additional sealing, apply a suitable thread sealant or PTFE tape sparingly to the male threads before assembly. After installation, pressurize the system and inspect all joints for leaks before regular operation.

Recommendations

For reliable, long-term operation in PC cooling loops, use compatible coolant fluids and perform periodic inspections for signs of corrosion or loosening. Avoid excessive torque during installation and choose thread sealants compatible with the system’s tubing and coolant to prevent contamination.
