DeLOCK optische hybridekoppeling SC simplex stekker naar LC simplex bus groen

This SC Simplex to LC Simplex hybrid coupling by Delock enables conversion between SC and LC connector types, allowing SC and LC optical fiber cables to be connected. The coupling features a green plastic housing and compact dimensions (9.5 mm width, 45.9 mm depth, 8.9 mm height) suitable for various fibre optic applications.

Advantages

The hybrid coupler provides a simple mechanical solution for adapting SC Simplex male to LC Simplex female connections without additional tools. Its plastic dust cap protects the sleeve from contamination and helps keep the connection clean. The compact design minimizes space requirements in patch panels or networking enclosures.

How to use

Remove the protective dust caps from the fibre connectors and the coupler. Insert the SC Simplex male connector into the SC side of the coupler and push the LC Simplex female connector into the LC side until both are securely seated. After connecting, fit the dust cap to the unused end or cover the coupler when not in use to keep the sleeve free from dust and debris.

Recommendations

Handle fibre connectors by the boot or ferrule area, avoid touching the end faces, and keep dust caps in place when connectors are not connected. Clean fibre end faces with appropriate cleaning tools before making connections to ensure optimal signal quality.
