Duwer Cimco 140052 turquoise kunststof 5000 mm

The Cimco 140052 Turquoise Plastic Push Rod is a flexible plastic rod with a length of 5000 mm designed for cable pulling and feeding tasks. Manufactured by cimco, this turquoise push rod combines an extended reach with a lightweight construction to assist in guiding cables through conduits, walls, and ceiling voids. Its smooth surface and consistent diameter support controlled feeding and reduce snagging during use.

Advantages

The push rod offers a long 5000 mm reach while remaining lightweight for manual handling. Its plastic construction provides flexibility to negotiate bends and offsets without permanent deformation. The smooth outer surface minimizes friction against conduit interiors and cable jackets, helping maintain steady progress when pulling or pushing cables. The turquoise color improves visibility in low-light or cluttered spaces.

Suitable for

• Pulling and guiding electrical, data and communication cables through conduits
• Feeding wiring in residential and commercial installations
• Reconciling routes through ceiling voids, wall cavities and service ducts
• Temporary cable routing during renovation or maintenance work

Key specifications

• Material: durable plastic
• Length: 5000 mm
• Color: turquoise
• Construction: flexible single-piece rod with smooth outer surface

How to use

Insert the leading end of the push rod into the conduit or opening and feed it through by pushing while maintaining a straight line as much as possible. When navigating bends, apply steady pressure and advance gradually to allow the rod to flex through the curve. Attach the cable to the end of the rod using an appropriate connector, tape or pulling eye, ensuring a secure, low-profile connection before pulling the rod back through the conduit to draw the cable. Support the rod and cable as needed to avoid excessive bending or kinking.

Recommendations

Inspect the push rod before use for signs of damage or excessive wear. Use suitable connectors or tape rated for cable pulling to avoid snags. Avoid sharp bending radii beyond the rod's flexibility to prevent damage. Store the rod coiled or hung to preserve straightness and protect it from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or solvents.
