Ethernet-kabel ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 7 m groen

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CU PVC Ethernet Cable is a 7 m network cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, features gold-plated contacts, U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) copper conductors and a PVC jacket. The cable is available in green and includes strain relief and a snagless latch design for improved durability.

Advantages

This ethernet cable combines copper conductors with gold-plated RJ-45 contacts to provide reliable signal transmission and reduced contact corrosion. Reinforced strain relief and a snagless latch protect the connector and cable entry point from wear. The U/UTP design offers standard protection against crosstalk for typical LAN environments, while the 7 m length gives flexibility for home and office setups.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks and office workstations
• Connecting routers, switches, modems and networked devices
• Desktop PCs, NAS devices and network printers
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a 7 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Conductor: copper (CU)
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Jacket material: PVC
• Product colour: Green
• Weight: 0.269 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other end into the Ethernet port of your device. Ensure connectors click into place with the snagless latch engaged. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid placing heavy objects on top of it. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large transformers or unshielded power cables.

Recommendations

For reliable gigabit connections, use this ProXtend CAT5e cable for typical LAN installations. If you require higher shielding for industrial or high-interference environments, consider a shielded cable type (e.g., STP/FTP) instead.
