Hypertec 858614-HY netwerkkabel geel 10 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hypertec ProConnectLite S/FTP Cat7 snagless cable in yellow (10 m) delivers a shielded Ethernet connection for high-speed data transfer in home and office networks. Featuring S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the 10-metre cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference while maintaining compatibility with common networking equipment. The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket enhances safety in enclosed spaces by producing less smoke and toxic gases in case of fire.

Advantages

This Cat7 S/FTP cable provides improved signal integrity through individual pair foiling and an overall braided shield, which helps maintain stable high-bandwidth performance. The snagless RJ-45 connectors protect the locking tab during installation and removal. The 10 m length gives flexibility for typical room-to-room or equipment-to-switch connections, and the bright yellow jacket makes the cable easy to identify within cable bundles.

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices (for example, a router, switch or PC). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve performance. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management and secure the cable without crushing the jacket.

Recommendations

Use this Hypertec ProConnectLite Cat7 S/FTP cable for reliable wired connections where reduced interference and LSZH materials are required; avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
