IP-camera Instar IN-8403 2K+ POE 2560x1440 resolutie

Instar IN-8403 is an IP camera offering 2K+ resolution (2560 x 1440) and Power over Ethernet (POE) support, designed for networked video monitoring. The camera delivers higher-than-FHD image detail for indoor or outdoor surveillance when connected to a compatible network video recorder (NVR) or a POE-capable switch. Its 2K+ resolution improves clarity for identification and evidence capture while the POE interface simplifies power and data cabling into a single network connection.

Advantages

The Instar IN-8403 provides enhanced image detail with a 2560 x 1440 sensor, enabling more accurate recognition of faces, license plates and fine scene details compared with standard Full HD cameras. POE support reduces installation complexity by combining power and network data on one Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a separate power supply in many setups. The camera is suitable for continuous network recording and remote live viewing through standard ONVIF-compatible NVRs and monitoring software.

Key specifications

• Resolution: 2560 x 1440 (2K+)
• Network interface: Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (POE)
• Video stream: network IP streaming compatible with ONVIF devices
• Sensing: high-resolution image sensor for enhanced detail
• Mounting: suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor installation when mounted correctly

How to use

Connect the camera to your POE-capable switch or POE injector using a standard Ethernet cable, then configure network parameters and video settings via the camera’s web interface or compatible NVR. Position the camera to cover the desired scene, adjust lens orientation and focus as needed, and verify exposure and framing using live view. Set recording schedules, motion detection zones or continuous recording on the NVR or through the camera’s software according to your monitoring needs.

Recommendations for use

Use shielded network cable and weatherproof connectors if the camera is installed outdoors or in exposed locations. Ensure the NVR or network recorder supports the camera resolution and stream settings to record at 2560 x 1440. Regularly check firmware updates from the manufacturer to maintain network security and compatibility.
